On March 29, 2022, Ms. Puon Sokkay, an elementary teacher at the American Intercon School, Mao Tse Tong campus, conducted a life skill of growing Bok Choy for students in grade 3. This activity is very important for students because it enables students to have interest in concerning about natural environment and growing vegetables without chemical substances. American Intercon School always focuses on learning and linked to hands-on practice for all the students.
In addition, students learned to grow more organic vegetables to save money and contribute to reducing environmental pollution. After learning new knowledge about plants from teachers, all students felt very happy with the activity.
