On February 1, 2021, Mr. Sopheak Seuk conducted a life skill on cooking beef stir fry for 2nd graders of American Intercon School (AIS) in the morning and afternoon shifts. The main objective of this life skill was to equip students with the knowledge of cooking beef stir fry and the ingredient used in this food. More importantly, this would benefit them in their daily life in the future. Besides, this cooking activity could also help students to learn to cooperate with one another in order achieve their common goal. After full demonstration by Mr. Sopheak Seuk, students were provided the chance to practice cooking the dish by themselves. As a result, they could achieve cooking beef stir fry by themselves. This life skill activity is one of the crucial core values of learning which AIS has been trying to provide to all the students. This is because at AIS students do not learn only theory but also real-life practice.
