On March 22, 2022, the American Intercon School Comittee organized a chemistry experiment under the theme “Liquid Density” which was led by Mr. Sreysros Nou for 7th grade students in room 602 at Quach Leang Hour Building.
In this experiment, Mr. Nou Srey Sros highlighted the main points of the lesson to present to the students to better understand the 7-color rainbow experiment. It is an experiment in which several liquids are placed in a calibrated glass without mixing, which is then applied to its density sequentially through practical experiments in the laboratory. After that, the teacher showed the materials used in the experiment, such as honey, syrup, soap, color water, cooking oil, alcohol, 20 ml syringe, 1 or 2 10 ml syringes, 2 layers and rubber or newspaper for 0.5 m long tablecloth. Students have a clear understanding of fluid density and are able to classify their densities through experiments, especially learning how to experiment with experimental processes, experimental materials, and post-experimental results.
