Mrs. Saroeun Sath obtained a bachelor of arts and literature in Khmer literature on July 12, 1996 at the University of Phnom Penh, currently known as Royal University of Phnom Penh, and she pursued her study in Pedagogy at National Institute of Education On September 25, 1996. She received the Certification of Pedagogy on September 1997.

On November 1, 1997, she volunteered to work in Siem Reap as a high school Khmer Literature teacher in Puok high school in Siem Reap province. In 1998, she was promoted to Head​​ of​ Khmer​​​​​ Literature Subject Teacher for High School by the committee of Puok high school. Then in 2004, the High School Committee appointed her as a vice​ principal. But on October 1, 2005, she transferred to Intradevi High School in Toul Kork District, Phnom Penh. On September 10, 2007, she started working for American Intercon Institute and School as Secretary of Academic Programs for American Intercon School​ working on student documents from kindergarten to high school students. In August 2008, the Board of the American Intercon Institute and School promoted her to Assistant Principal of Education Administration. Then on February 10, 2010 she was promoted to Reserve School Board Member. She became the School Board Member officially on April 10, 2010. Later, on March 3, 2011, she was promoted to Head of AIS Academic Secretary for the American Intercon School, in addition to her role as Principal of Education Administration. Because of her hard work, strong commitment and contribution for many years, on March 15, 2012, she was promoted to Principal of Education Administration and Head of AIS Academic Secretary.
