On January 05, Mr. Phorn Long led the 7th graders of American Intercon School, Chom Chao campus, to do an experiment on the topic of expansion and heat transfer of solids. The purpose of this experiment is to enable students to understand the heat transfer and expansion of different solids, to notice the implementation and precautions of the expansion and heat transfer of solids. It should also be noted that in order to run the experiment, students need materials such as: pyrometer, alcohol (alcohol lamps), metal wires, lighter, candles, glass chopsticks, metal chopsticks and copper chopsticks. For the experimental process, students use a pyrometer and alcohol lamp. Then heat each piece of metal wire or chopsticks by placing it on a flame with each end with the candle wax. As a result, students can see the expansion of the solid and the heat transfer of the solids.
